I ran outside for a quick self portrait... its so bloody hot here in Texas that this will have to do. Hey... At least I'm smiling and not completely squinty! LOL
Taken with my fiance's kodak easy share camera. I did the old "hold your arm out, point at your face, and hope you get it all in the shot" thing. Turned out ok, but I promise I will spend more time and effort on the next challenge assignment :)
I did the same thing! It gets the job done!
ReplyDeleteThat good ol' tried and tested self-portrait method! :D You got a great shot though; the uncomplicated background draws the eye to your face. (And speaking of eyes, yours are a gorgeous colour!)
ReplyDeleteThat's the same way I did it! The lighting turned out great!! Glad to meet you and I am following this and your craft blog now!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet comment! I appreciate it! It seems like a few of the photographers are commenting on how hot it is!
ReplyDeleteI love your bangs! I wish I had the courage to do them..but alas, I do not. Thanks for linking up! The tried & true method worked out well for you :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, your background is key to focusing on you. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteGood work for a quick shot! I did a quick outdoor shot too....this Texas heat is too much for me!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! Nothing beats a self portrait with a point and shoot :)
